Feeding Programs

A healthy, well prepared brain is essential for learning

The Foundation provides groceries for disadvantaged schools going kids or those with unemployed parents.
Research shows that children with nutritional deficiencies are particularly susceptible to metabolic changes that impact upon cognitive ability and performance of the brain. Nutrition is believed to impact upon individual’s behavior such as concentration and activity levels. These behaviors have the potential to affect school performance and interaction with peers.
Poverty and constraints of unemployment in our communities create practical barriers to food in general, let alone healthy eating.

Uniform Program

The Foundation donates school uniforms to disadvantages children yearly, especially during winter seasons as many young children still walk to school without shoes, warm jerseys or descent uniform.
